Forty seven years ago, a magazine was born in Calcutta – India in 1978 founded by my Late Father Dwarka Dass Luthra in the name of LEATHER AGE and it was committed to excellence in journalism, for educating the unorganised Leather & Footwear sector in Indian Industry. Now it’s become Global!

LEATHER AGE INDIA’S LARGEST ENGLISH MAGAZINE on Leather Tanning Sector, Footwear,

LUTHRA, it has successfully completed 47 years of continuous publication and has entered into 48 years
from our November/December 2025 edition. It has a wide readership and covers many important news
